Coach Matt is a founding owner of JandMSwim along with co – owner Jeff King. Matt has Coached at virtually every level from Learn to Compete through Senior for NCAP Alexandria-JandMSwim. Coach Matt also has NVSL, other summer league experience and High School swim as a Team Rep, Officials Coordinator, Referee and stroke and turn as well as coaching at those levels. Matt currently operates the business for JandMSwim and supports the Coaching Staff as a substitute coach when needed. With over 50 years of coaching under his belt, Coach Matt loves the kids most and thrives on helping them improve in any aspect of the sport be it stroke, endurance, mastering turns and stars and even time management. Coach Matt has recently retired from 40 years of federal government service as an engineer and is revelling in his freer schedule for his family including JandMSwim.
