Coach Marye Carter brings over 40 years of experience in aquatic programming, instruction, and coaching at national and international levels. She has served as a programmer, director, pool manager, mentor, and instructor, and has worked with the Olympic Training Center, Potomac Valley Swimming Eastern Zones, and USA ParaSwimming as a certified Stroke and Turn Judge. Currently coaching at the GW and Franconia Rec Centers, she has been an Assistant Coach with J&M Swim for over 30 years, leading programs from Learn to Compete and Stroke School to Competitive and Transitional Age Groups, while also supporting summer league teams and serving as an Assistant Coach for the National Team for Down Syndrome Swimming
